The original stone which was used for centuries in the coronation of the monarchs of Scotland, then later monarchs of England, Great Britain and the United Kingdom was allowed to be returned to Scotland by the Queen in 1996 after nearly 700 years, it can be viewed at Edinburgh Castle.

Home of the Clan Chief at Castle Menzies, by Aberfeldy, where Bonnie Prince Charles stayed on his way to the Battle of Culloden.
